According to the latest statistics published by the United Nations, more person profess adherence to the various Christian beliefs, sects and denominations.
Islam, with its various sects is the second largest religion (approximately 1.6 billion persons).
One must keep in mind that although many may profess a particular adherence to a belief system, not all of the actually follow that which they profess.

Yes Islam is target of Christians and Jews.
They feel if Muslims change like they were at the time of Prophet Mohammad, they may become a serious problem for Christians. I mean not to fight but most Christians will convert as Muslims by the influence of true Muslims in daily life……if and when they will become true Muslims. The rise of Islam has started all over the world of Islam. Off course many are misguided and don’t know their right direction to follow but they will eventually will unite and will march on the right way. More young men and women are shedding off the ways of west and becoming good practicing Muslims. More girls in Pakistan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Malaysia etc are
wearing modest outfits and pray five times than ever before. More young men are seen praying in Masajids than before.
Offcourse when these young and women will become parents, Muslims will be different than during occupation of British Empire.
