why cant she get another husband?
Don’t say she can divorce, she does not want divorce. Why do men have two choices, and women just one?
Since extramarital sex is forbidden, you cant know he is impotent.
Or he becomes impotent after two years.

In Islam men have complete control over women. I do, howevewr, know a family from Bangladesh that is Muslim. The family dresses in western clothing and the husband and wife seperated when they moved from Bangladesh to Connecticut around 15 to 20 years ago.

she is allowed to have a divorce by law.. if she doesnt want to divorce then she is free to stay with him without kids.. its her choice..

Islam is the only religion what says marry only one women but if anyone have any specific reason then he can take more women as wife but limits is 4 and he should fair and just to all of his wives.
“O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them happiness, that ye may take away part of the dower [i.e money given by the husband to the wife for the marriage contract] ye have given them, except where they have been guilty of open lewdness: on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brigns about through it a great deal of good” [Quran, 4:19]
Narrated Mu’awiyah al-Qushayri: “I went to the Apostle of Allah and asked him: what do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, AND DO NOT BEAT THEM” [Sunnah Abu Dawood, Book 11, Marriage, Number 2139]
Prophet Muhammad says act kindly towards women. (Sahiah Bukhari, book 8, Number 3468)
Only Islam gave us for any limitation of marriage. Where Bible or Bhogovat gita (i.e hinduism scripture) gave us any light for marry women?

Hindus lord Krisna had 1604 wives.
In 2 samuel 5:13, 1chronicles 3:1-19, 1 chronicles 14:3 king David had 6 wives and numerous concubines.
In 1 king 11:3, king solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines.
In 2 chronicles 11:21,king solomon’s son Rehoboam had 18 wives and 60 concubines.
Even Prophet Abraham had 3 wives Sarah, Hugar and Keturah (Genesis, 16:1, Genesis 16:3 and Genesis 25:1)
Prophet Jacob had 4 wives..Leah, zilpah, rachel and Bilhah (Gen 29:23, Genesis 29:28, Gen 30:4, Gen 30:9)
Where God says marry only one in the whole Bible? So we clearly see, Polygamy actually started with the Bible and Islam is a good religion more than Judaism and Christianity.

Thats why I like Christianity. Polygamy is forbidden in Christianity because marriage is supposed to be between one husband and wife.
If your spouse cannot have children or cannot perform sexually than you still stay with them. Sex is not the most important thing in this world. The relationship is what matters, not the sex. and if you want children you can adopt. Many of Gods children still need parents….
@Shine, many people in the bible had multiple wives put no-where did God say he liked it or would approve of it. Most of the time the polygamy ended in trajedy and the bible always showed the dangers of polygamy. People who were in polygamous families in the bible often suffered. Abraham suffered for his polygamy. God actaully punished him for his polygamy. Rachel and Leah suffered for Jacobs polygamy. King Solomons wives died because of the polygamy.
The bible always made it clear that one wife was a good thing. We know this because everytime a monogamous man is mention it says “He was good because he had one wife.” Having one wife was considered a good thing all through-out the bible.
